We’re always on the lookout for talented and brilliant people to work with us freelance on client projects, and, when vacancies arise, to join the Storythings team on a more permanent basis. We have a really diverse range of work, including running digital publications, content strategy or format development consultancy, audience research, and making things like videos and podcasts. You can get a taste of what we do on this page.
You may consider yourself an expert in what you do, or you may be at the early stages of your career and looking to gain experience. There is often scope to work with us at a number of levels, so we’re keen to hear from you if you like the look of us and think your skills could be a good match.

Who we are
Right now, there are eight of us in the core team. We’re storytellers, strategists, format obsessives and makers. Our office is based in Brighton but we’re really a remote team, with our three Directors based in Brighton, London and Ibiza, and editorial staff in Stockholm and Berlin. Our freelancers work with us from all over the world. We have a pro bono consultancy offering, First Draft, where we’ve been supporting UK companies working with underrepresented communities to solve content and comms challenges.
