PROTOTYPE EPISODE: THE GOLDEN ERA OF TV

We travel back to early 2008, which some fans and critics call the golden era of modern television. Between January and March 2008, three seminal TV shows (Breaking Bad, Lost and The Wire) aired simultaneously and converged at the start, peak and end of their greatness – all within 90 days. Chris is joined by his fellow TV junkies, Hugh Garry, Kobi Omenaka and Roeann Osman to discuss the impact of these classic TV shows and explore how a writer’s strike, the rise of social media and the introduction of streaming platforms kept us glued to our screens and changed TV forever.
